The Summit at Snoqualmie Nordic
The Summit at Snoqualmie Nordic boasts 50 kilometers of cross country ski trails at the flanks of Hyak Peak and Mount Catherine. Access to the upper trails can be reached via the East Peak Chair or the Silver Fir Chair. Your full day trail ticket will get you two chair rides per day.
The lower trails start from the Nordic Center at the Summit East Base Area on the cold creek trail that traverses Mount Hyak above Keechelus lake at a gentle grade. Cold creek connects to the steeper Hidden Valley trail and the Mount Catherine Loop.
From either lift access descend to the Union Station, where a large trail sign or the friendly ski patrol can assist in navigating the upper trails.
Warm up on the steep winding hills of Rockdale Bowl to the Scenic Overlook with panoramic views over I-90 and Mount Catherine.
Connect with the Sunrise Loop Trails that weave in and out of dense woods to open views above Keechelus Lake along the power lines. Climb back up Nova or the Outer loop to complete the circuit of these snappy trails.
Descend to the Nordic Center at the Summit East Base area via the Hidden Valley Trail or the Mount Catherine Loop. These both feature long and occasionally steep sections that will test your down hill skills.
