Stevens Nordic offers long gentle climbs with valley views and tight winding trails along the scenic Mill Creek.The Mainline trail ascends all the way through Stevens Nordic Center Cross Country Trails. From the trail head off the parking lot at 3,000 feet immediately start the gradual climb up the mainline trail. Ascend the steady climb past the open bench area before pushing through the last steeper hills to reach the turn around point at the Stevens Pass Southern Cross Chairlift at 3760 feet. Descend the mainline trail, side loop trails skirt the sections of the Main Line trail on both sides offering more varied terrain, like the fun windy Caboose trail. Guthrie Heights Climbs above following the power lines before descending back to the mainline above the Guthrie loop biathlon area. If you are lucky you may get a glimpse of biathletes in action. Continue down the sidetrack take notice of blind corners, as these are two-way trails. This trail reconnects on the mainline at a handful of points and down at the trail head. Repeat as many times as necessary. You will be relieved to have a downhill stretch at the finish.
