Lake Easton Nordic trail

Reach Lake Easton Snopark at the far east side of Snoqualmie pass off i90 exit 70.
5 kilometers of mellow ski trails roll through the woods and along Lake Easton and Yakima River offering up scenic overlooks.

Avoid a grizzly surprise when you get back to your car.  Be sure to post your Snoparks pass with special grooming sticker or purchase a one-day pass in conjunction with a Discover Pass at the kiosk near the heated changing rooms/ restrooms.

Find ski trails off the northwest side of the parking lot.  The beginning stretch is split to share the passageway with snowmobilers.  Trails are popular with skiers and snowshoers.  Cross by an open expanse by the lake paralleling i90 before dipping in to the woods on a slight climb.  The forested trails are great for kids or new skiers offering fun short loops that all connect back to the little hill loop main trail.

Connect with the John Wayne Pioneer trail for an open view across lake Easton over the Yakima river.  Continue down to Frozen Toe Point for some great river views emerging from skiing through a cliffy corridor.

Make your way back along the lake skiing any variation on the Loop D Loop trails back to the S curves and Wind Tunnel Way.

This snopark has snoplay areas off the parking lot for great for sledding and just kicking around in the snow.
