Snoqualmie Pass Crystal Springs to Hyak Out-and-Back Skate Ski
The out-and-back groomed skate track can be accessed from two snoparks: Hyak or Crystal Springs. While Hyak has better accommodations including heated changing rooms, restrooms, and a kids sledding hill. This is the most popular snopark on Snoqualmie Pass and is often busy or full in Peak Season. The Crystal Springs sno park is accessed on the following I90 exit towards Stampede Pass. There are two parking areas to access the Nordic trails one on each side of the massive parking lot flanking tailgating parties of snowmobile enthusiasts.
Be sure to park with the front of your vehicle facing the parking lot.
Access the John Wayne Pioneer/Iron Horse Trail from either side of the parking lot on approx. 1km trails. Expect to see sled dogs and skijoring on the west side connector trail.
