Western Washington, hiking, climbing, Best of the NW year-round trails. Washington Pass, North Cascades. Ascending in Evergreen forests to open flower strewn meadows with views of the back of Liberty Bell (Classic Becky route) and across Cutthroat peak. Steep in places but well graded this moderate hike arrives at beautiful alpine Blue Lake. We were greeted by two mountain goats and enjoyed a refreshing dip before returning back down the trail.
