I’ve pretty much worn knee pads for 35 years. Warm knees are happy knees, warm knees are resilient knees, it’s not only the physical protection it’s the warmth. Vanity over safety, never again. Having a helmet on lets you focus on the things you need to focus on and not worry about not hitting your head. Having a compatible partner that pushes you but doesn’t push you to be stupid, that pushes progression in a safe way.
