Suiattle River Trail - Best of the Northwest Best of the Northwest

Suiattle River Trail

The Suiattle River Road is officially open after a 11 year closure due to washouts. Construction is finished on the last 10-mile section opening the north Glacier Peak wilderness corridor to a new generation.

Play & Learn
This passage allows access to 207,000 acres of National Forest including 120 miles of hiking trails. Connecting to long lost classic routes like Image Lake, Green Mountain, Sulphur Mountain Trail and the Pacific Crest Trail.

The Suiattle River Trail is the gateway to grand exploration of this area. Deeply remote and wild feeling the trail is in surprisingly good shape. An ancient seeming road grade following above the Suiattle River this trail weaves through boulders streams as it gradually climbs through lush mushroom filled forests.
