One of the most visited waterfalls in the state. The paved Preston-Snoqualmie Rail trail is a great out and back viewpoint a bit more off the beaten path.
The closest views of the falls are from the visitor center trails and observation decks. For a less crowded viewpoint cross the Snoqualmie River to find a parking lot on the far side of the Preston Snoqualmie trail.
Popular for dog walking and bike riding this smooth paved trail makes a great bike ride with a woodsy feel. Benches at the end reveal a view of the falls through the trees across the Snoqualmie River. Not as close, but a pleasant out and back walk or ride that avoids the throngs of sightseers at Snoqualmie Falls.
