Just south of Saint Edwards Park by Kirkland O.O. Denny County Park Loop lies tucked away from the popular summer time lake Washington beach.
Play & Learn
There are parking lots on either side of Holmes Point Drive. Find the loop trail at the north side of the parking lot. A quiet ravine invites passers by along Denny creek past a 600-year-old Douglas fir one of the largest in the low land Seattle area parks. Continue along the often-muddy trail over streams and past historical remnants. Crossing over Denny creek observe the restored salmon spawning habitat and natural fish ladder. The trail climbs along the south side of the ravine before dipping back down to the trail head and road. Check out this trail for a near-by year round short loop.
